It's September, which means the days, weeks, and months can get busier as we approach the holidays and Q4. WAG News

Parents of Wonolo meetups- September 1, 15, and 29. You can RSVP to the invite. The group meets every other week. Find more information in the #parentsofwonolo slack channel. 

WOCAW (Whammies of Color at Wonolo) meetup- September 15th. You can RSVP to the invite. The group meets up once a month. Find more information in the #wocaw slack channel.

Settlers of Wonolo meetup- They meet every other week to play a game of Catan, alternating between 5pm PT Thursday and 5pm PT Wednesday. The next meetings are the September 2nd (Thu), September 15th (Wed), and September 30th (Thu). Find more information in the #settlersofwonolo slack channel.

Miami is quickly approaching and we have a few reminders for you:

Upload your vaccination card or doctors letter of vaccination to Rippling. Here are the directions:

1.Click on your name in the upper right hand corner.
2.Click on "My Profile".
3. Click on "Custom fields" in the menu on the left hand side.
4. Find a Vaccine card option and upload.

Book your flight! If you have not booked your flight, please email back sbernhardt@adelmantravel.com to get that booked.

Customer & Wonoloer Spotlights

Veho is a start-up that provides end-to-end e-commerce delivery service. The jobs that the Wonoloers do are packing the delivery vehicles with boxes of products for Veho's clients. Veho helps with delivery of HelloFresh boxes in some markets! Here's positive feedback from one of their Requestors about our living wage pledge.

Margot was featured in a full page story in the Denver Business Journal about what brought her to Wonolo. The article ran both in print and online and highlighted that Wonolo's remote first culture helped attract her to the company: Seasoned Colorado tech exec Margot Moellenberg joins fast-growing staffing startup Wonolo as CFO.

Katie was interviewed and included in Inc Magazine this month in an article entitled 5 Leadership Strategies to Help Women Prosper in the Workplace.

Wonolo was prominently featured in Yahoo! news in a list of the 27 Most Lucrative Side Hustles for People Over 50.

Whammy to Wonoloers Calls

Have you completed your Q3 Whammy to Wonoloer call? You can sign up for a time slot, and Christine will schedule the call with the Wonoloers and you will be invited to the calendar event. All calls are done over zoom.

You can also shadow another Whammy on a call. Add your name to the "Shadow Whammy email" column to any time slot that has a called scheduled. We'll add you to the invite, so you can listen in.

Wonoloer Community Fund

We sponsored an event in August for a non-profit organization created by a Wonoloer, Maxwell Brown.

Josh and the team were at the event giving Wonolo swag and sharing our support for the community in Philly! We were able to give $500. Thanks to everyone who has given to the WCF.

If you would like to contribute through your paycheck, please read and fill out this form by September 14th. The first deduction will start in October if you are new to the program.
